Qualifications:

A PhD or EdD or other terminal degree in a discipline appropriate for an interdisciplinary leadership program with a social science focus

The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of prior demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and evidence of successful mentorship of student research.

The ideal candidate will possess non-academic professional experience as a scholar-practitioner and 2 or more years of online teaching experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work collaboratively on a team in an interdisciplinary environment

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with, and empathy and compassion for, a diversity of populations

To be considered, candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vita, two letters of reference, a teaching portfolio outlining the candidates’ teaching philosophy, a description of the courses within the EdD Plan of Study the candidate could teach, and evidence of excellence in teaching (5 pages maximum), and transcripts.
