Qualifications:
MS or other advanced degree in relevant biomedical field required (immunology, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology etc.);
6-8 years of research lab experience that includes at least 3 years of direct flow cytometry experience;
1-year supervisory experience required;
Strong technical background in biological sciences and complex flow cytometry assays highly preferred; 
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Demonstrated ability in the interpretation and evaluation of flow cytometry data;
Proven leadership skills based on previous supervisory experience;
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).  Must be able to interact with peers and experts in the field to keep abreast of advances in cytometry and related fields as well as interact with diverse users with a wide range of technical expertise and education;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team (i.e. evidence of and willingness to collaborate in the planning of research projects);
Prior experience in providing instruction to students, postdoctoral fellows, and other researchers concerning technical procedures and solutions related to flow cytometry;
Previous experience working in a core/shared resource facility is a plus
