The Division of Student Life seeks candidates for the Student Life Director for Creighton University Programming in the Dominican Republic. Based at the ILAC Center located outside of Santiago, the Student Life Director (SLD) will develop, implement, evaluate and participate in student life programs in the Dominican Republic for Creighton University. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice Provost for Student Engagement, the SLD will work collaboratively with the Encuentro Dominicano Academic Director, the Executive Director of the Centro de Educacion para la Salud Integral (CESI), the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) Directors in the Dominican Republic and Omaha, and the Global Engagement Office while living on campus in the Dominican Republic.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
2 years knowledge/experience with student life programs.
Oral and written fluency in both English and Spanish. 
Willingness to relocate and live at Creighton's center in the Dominican Republic.
Master's Degree in student affairs/higher education/counseling or related field strongly preferred
Must be committed to the Catholic, Jesuit mission of educating the whole person
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups
Preference will also be given to candidates who have service and/or work experience in a Latin American culture and/or have been involved in study abroad programs while having a strong understanding of American college student culture.
