Creighton University School of Pharmacy & Health Professions (SPAHP) is looking to hire a dynamic Student Affairs Coordinator for our new Phoenix Health Sciences Campus. Under the direction of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs on the Omaha campus, the Student Affairs Coordinator will assist in cultivating a professional student culture to nearly 300 students enrolled in our Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Physical Therapy students at our midtown Phoenix campus located at Park Central. The successful candidate will join an energetic team of professionals from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs dedicated to ensuring development of more than 1,000 campus and distance-based students across the United States.

This position will coordinate efforts to ensure development and success of students inside and outside of the classroom, including oversight and assistance with co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities, student organizations, student governance and student leadership development on the Phoenix Health Sciences Campus. In addition, the Student Affairs Coordinator will plan and implement required orientation and other academic programming for students in all three degree SPAHP programs. The Student Affairs Coordinator will also assist the Office of Admission in the recruitment and enrollment efforts for the Phoenix Health Sciences Campus.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Higher Education or related field

2-4 years related experience

Ability to work autonomously given appropriate direction

Strong interpersonal, written and small/large group presentation skills

Counseling/advising skills

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with clients and staff

Verbal and written communications skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Ability to operate personal computer and various software programs
