Summary:

Creighton is seeking an instructor to lead a new Chapter 7 Low Income Bankruptcy Legal Clinic which will operate as a one-semester clinical course with an additional classroom competent that will be offered each fall and spring semester. The clinical instructor will act in the role of supervising attorney who work with up to eight third-year law students who will be certified under the student practice rules and approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Students will receive intensive skills training and close individual supervision by the clinic instructor to ensure representation is consistent with best practices in Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The instructor will supervise students engaging in court appearances, client interviewing and counseling, factual investigations, motions practice, and all other aspect of consumer bankruptcy.  Students will meet as a group with their instructor on a weekly basis to engage in case conferencing and universalize the learning arising from each individual representation experience. The instructor must be licensed to practice law in Nebraska and approved to practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Qualifications:
A Doctorate or Master's degree from an accredited college or university;
2-4 years prior teaching experience
