Creighton University, College of Nursing (CON) invites applications for “Special Faculty” positions for 2019 Spring, Summer and Fall. The CON hires Special Faculty mostly for the following areas:

1) Labs – Safety & Quality labs, Health Assessment Lab – dependent upon the number of sections of lab a Special Faculty can work anywhere from 2 – 18 hour/week.
2) Clinical rotations- varying numbers of hours/week from 12 – 18 hours/week and will require direct supervision of students in the clinical areas.

Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or earned doctorate in nursing) or possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be currently enrolled in a MSN program to be considered. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom, clinical, and/or on-line instruction. The candidate must have a current unencumbered licensure as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure, and have two (2) years of clinical experience. Candidates are strongly urged to familiarize themselves with Creighton’s mission and founding principles and review the Faculty Handbook and definition of “Special Faculty” at:

Two (2) years clinical experience in Maternal/Child;
A current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure

Ability to work at times non-traditional business hours when needed (i.e. weekends, evening, and/or holiday)
