A Software Developer is responsible for all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation. This responsibility requires a thorough understanding of application development and adapting existing applications to operate more efficiently. Able to gather and receive requirements and develop moderately complex solutions that includes automated testing procedures. Works with the Operations team to ensure smooth transition to production support teams. Responsible for discovery and development of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost. Works within the ITIL framework and Agile development methodologies.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 years combined experience in one or more of the following:

  • Strong understanding of SQL languages (PL SQL, T-SQL, etc…)

  • Experience working in at least one object oriented programming language and at least one scripting language.

  • Understanding of client/server architecture.

  • Experience developing enterprise wide solutions and micro services.

  • Experience creating automated solutions.

  • Experience working with multiple different databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc…)

  • Hands-on experience in a DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery environment.

  • Hands-on experience as a full stack developer.

Higher Education experience preferred

Must currently hold or pass the ITIL V.3 Foundation Certification Exam within 6 months of start date.
