Creighton University is currently seeking an experienced level Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team.  The Senior HRG formulates partnerships to selected divisions across the university to assess and anticipate human resources related needs and deliver value-added services.  In helping fulfill the mission, goals and objectives of the University, collaborates to ensure HR solutions and processes align with client needs and Creighton University strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field of study

  • At least (6) six years human resources generalist experience with strong knowledge of resolving complex employee relations issues and organizational change.

  • Experienced in partnering with management, leadership, and employees to provide HR solutions, strategies, and tactics to solve human capital issues. 

  • Solid working knowledge of state & federal employment regulations and related human resources compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Robust working knowledge of applicant tracking software/systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Experience with Taleo and Oracle Fusion desired.

  • Ability to instill confidence and trust along with the tact to challenge, in a positive way, to various stakeholders and constituents

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships by understanding business objectives and providing HR solutions

Licenses/Certifications
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
