Senior Director of Development School of Medicine
We are seeking a Senior Director of Development for our School of Medicine (SOM). In this role, you will build a pipeline of philanthropic support through interaction with alumni, friends, and benefactors of Creighton University. Responsibilities include major gift cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of established donor portfolio, as well as new donors to Creighton University. This will be accomplished through phone calls, emails, letters, and personal visits. The Senior Director will carry his/her own portfolio of alumni/donors specifically for the SOM. This position will solicit annual gifts, major gifts, estate gifts and campaign-specific gifts for the SOM and other university priorities.

- Cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of prospects to support the projects and priorities of the SOM
- Be present and involved with the SOM and serve as the primary University Relations development partner to the deans
- Work with Prospect Management to identify SOM prospects to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 7-10 years experience of demonstrated successful fundraising preferred. Comparable experience will be considered.
- Experience in a college or university environment and a national campaign environment helpful. Knowledge of and commitment to the field of education a plus.
- Experience soliciting and closing six-figure gifts a plus.
