This position will review requisitions, invoices, expense reports and P-Card charges to ensure compliance with the awards.  Prepare invoices and reports for awarding agencies.

Review Personnel Activity Reports for accuracy and compliance with the award.

Record checks received and prepare related budgets.

Liaison with Principal Investigator and department administrators, provide training and answer questions

Prepare journal entries to correct erroneous charges

Other projects as assigned


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area. 
2-4 years' experience 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 
Knowledge of accounting operations, laws, and terminology 
Verbal and written communication skills 
Accounting and bookkeeping skills 
Attention to detail 
Ability to operate a personal computer, and various software programs 
Ability to design, analyze, and prepare financial reports 
Ability to monitor expenditures and maintain data 
Ability to reconcile accounts and prepare analysis 
Ability to interpret accounts and records 
Ability to maintain confidentiality 
Physical Requirements:
