Research Laboratory Technician II
Creighton University is seeking to hire a Research Laboratory Technician for the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Medicine at Creighton University.
Under general supervision, responsibilities will conduct routine laboratory experiments such as DNA cloning, DNA sequencing, tissue culture, western blotting, PCR analysis, electrophoresis, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, using molecular, cellular and/or biochemistry techniques.
In addition, conducting routine colony support and experimental testing on mice and zebrafish would be expected.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field of Science required;
- 2-4 year's research lab experience
- Understanding of research methods, laboratory techniques, and care of laboratory equipment;
- Ability to interpret data, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Detail oriented and analytical skills;
- Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work independently;
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs
