Oversees the implementation of the Research Compliance Program as designated by the Director of Research & Compliance to assure adherence of federal and state laws and regulations for human subject's protection, animal protection, research misconduct and financial conflict of interest in relation to research. 

The primary responsibility of this position is implementing the quality improvement auditing and monitoring program for all research regulatory areas with an emphasis on human and animal research. This position is also responsible for the annual risk assessment, review of oversight committees, review of policies and procedures related to research and review of training and education programs related to research. This position also assists with other "for cause" investigations as needed.

This position will work Monday to Friday; normal business hours. 
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree required
6 years' related experience (prefer medical/clinical research/IRB-Institutional Review Board or IBC-Institutional Biosafety Committee background).
  
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong knowledge in ethics and/or health, law, healthcare administration, research process and health care setting including regulatory aspects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
