Provides senior-level support. Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods. Assists in the interpretation and publication of results and grants. Assists in initiating, executing and completing the clinical research and experiments. Prepares and writes research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete. Performs a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency. Evaluates experiment results using complex statistical and multivariate analysis.

This position will support a Primary Investigator within the Department of Pharmacology.  

Position is 100% grant funded.

This position will work Monday to Friday; 8am-4:30pm; depending upon research needs position may require evening, weekend, and holiday work.

This position will close on 07/05/2020.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in related field of Science;
5+ year's research lab experience
  
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues;
Strong work ethic;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work independently or as part of a team; 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook;
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs
