Program Director and Associate Professor/Professor, Master in Public Health Program
Qualifications:
1.Doctoral degree in public health or relevant to public health, including, but not limited to health care management, health care administration, health services administration, health services research, or business related field with health care management concentration.
2. Knowledge of, experience with, and a teaching record in public health and/or health care management.
3. Knowledge and experience in specialty accreditation with a preference for CEPH accreditation.
4. Display a track record of, or evidence for the potential of, success in graduate level teaching and advising.
5. Display a track record of, or evidence for the potential of, service.
6. A credible trajectory in research, scholarship, and academic publication.
7. Required residency in the Omaha metropolitan area.
8. Knowledge of or familiarity with the mission of Creighton University.
9. Experience in leadership roles within their respective field or organization(s).
Additional Qualifications preferred:
10. An earned doctoral degree in public health or relevant to public health, including, but not limited to health care management, health care administration, health services administration, health services research, or business related field with health care management concentration. ABD (all but dissertation) will be considered provided that all requirements for the doctoral degree will be completed within one year of the employment start date.
11. A MPH or master level degree in Health Care Management or Health Care Administration.
12. Established research and teaching in health care management arena a plus.
13. Experience in health care management, health administration, health services research or work experience as a researcher or manager/consultant/trainer in these fields is a plus.
14. Two to four years of experience in online teaching a plus.
