The College of Nursing (CoN) is hiring for a Program Coordinator
Coordinates, manages, and supports academic and assessment processes for the College of Nursing for three campuses. Provides administrative support to the college, faculty, staff, and students. Personal commitment to
Creighton’s Mission and Jesuit Values as well as supporting the College of Nursing’s efforts to educate nurses for the future.
- Clinical and preceptorship evaluations in eValue system: create and schedule time frames for the evaluations; create and maintain rotation teams; create and maintain user groups, etc.
- End of course surveys in Campus Labs system: collect survey requests; create planner and required files; set up surveys in the system; post survey response results on the SharePoint.
- Academic shared inbox: monitor and fulfill requests from the faculty and staff on the daily basis.
- Coordinates and supports the CoN’s academic, assessment, and evaluation processes using practices based on curriculum, assessment, and evaluation timelines and data management infrastructure with supervisor.
- Responsible for using multiple systems and software.
- Manage communications with stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain academic support documentation related to procedures, policies, and training information.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; may consider combination of other work/education experiences.
- Six years administrative experience.
- Proficiency with Windows PC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), browser-based applications, and electronic file management and ability to compile data and generate reports.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate seamlessly between multiple systems and computer applications and ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands, in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.
- Self-awareness of personal training needs: ability to locate available training materials, learn from materials, and use the training in day-to-day work environment.
