Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Skills Lab - Phoenix Campus
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Certification: Pharmacy Technician certification
2 years’ experience preferred in a contemporary pharmacy setting, senior technician status preferred
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/medical terms, abbreviations, symbols, and basic math skill.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are critical
Responsibility/Duty % of Time:
80% - Perform and assist with pharmacy technician responsibilities as assigned by faculty teaching in the Pharmacy Skills Laboratory simulated environment. Assist faculty and students in preparation and implementation of activities. Maintain the laboratory environment as needed.
20% - Additional duties as assigned in relation to assisting with teaching of pharmacy students in the Pharmacy Skills Laboratory.
