Outreach Coordinator EOC
Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire an Outreach Coordinator. This full time, hourly role is responsible for conducting outreach, recruiting, and providing post-secondary education advising support to approximately 450 adults at assigned target areas throughout Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska and Pottawatomie County in Iowa.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and initiate approved recruitment strategies to recruit and maintain a caseload of at least 450 participants annually within the target area.
- Develop, present, and evaluate specific services, workshops, and college orientation activities for participants.
- Advise participants on matters of college preparation, academic success, career exploration, personal development, and financial literacy.
- Create, maintain, and submit timely and accurate reports on participant activities and progress.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with representatives in the nonprofit, social service, and educational community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (such as Education, Counseling, Communication, or Human Services). Master’s degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience relative to skills and qualifications listed.
- Experience with first-generation and low-income populations and Trio knowledge a plus.
