Creighton University is currently seeking a Manager of Finance that would contribute perspective and ideas related to achieving financial targets, and staffing proposals.


Creates models to quantify and illustrate financial reports, comparisons, impacts and projections (return on investment, quarterly current estimates, annual budget and multi-year projections). Communicates results to all levels of the areas supported and to the Finance Department.


Prepares external reporting and invoicing for various surveys/external organizations.

Works closely with the operations areas to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Works closely with other members of finance to identify and implement reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis process improvements across the University.


This position will support EVP, Finance, General Counsel, HR, ITLS and the President's Office in addition to managing personnel who support other operational areas within the university.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field;
Minimum 10 years demonstrated of experience;
2+ years supervisory experience;
Proficiency skills in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
Strong collaborative/teamwork ability to motivate, and inspire staff at all levels of the organization;
Demonstrated experience with strategic and master planning;
Experience with budget planning, forecasting and fiscal management of an operating budgeting
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex plans coordinated with multiple constituencies.
Strong ability to manage, supervise, and develop professional staff;
Ability to influence change;
Results oriented;
Mission and Service oriented
