Journeyman Electrician-Commercial Maintenance
Minimum of 3 + years as a licensed Commercial Electrician. With an extensive working knowledge of commercial electrical systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, and electrical components of plumbing and HVAC systems strongly desired;
Licensed Journeyman Electrician;
Knowledge of and experience working on 208/120 Volt 3 phase systems and 480/277 Volt 3 phase systems;
Experience must include a thorough working knowledge of National Electrical Codes for installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and the importance of following all safety rules / procedures;
Understands and embodies Creighton vision and mission;
Basic computer literacy skill;
Extensive working knowledge of commercial electrical systems;
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, and electrical components of plumbing and HVAC systems strongly desired;
Knowledge of and experience working on 208/120 Volt 3 phase systems and 480/277 Volt 3 phase systems;
Ability to self-start, work independently and complete work orders in a timely manner;
Strong customer service focus;Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects;
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs;
Ability to work at heights of 20 feet and above;
Ability to work outside in various temperatures (summer/winter) for extended periods of time;
Ability to be “on-call” on a rotational schedule
Valid State of Nebraska Journeyman’s or Electrical Contractor License;
Must have a current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years and no major violations within the last 5 years
