Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required;
2-4 years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Basic knowledge of the care and feeding of animals;
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Ability to see details at close range;
Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas;
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects;
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs;
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Required Licenses/Certifications:
Must have a valid and current driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years and no major violations within the last 5 years;
American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) certification preferred;
Successful completion of Creighton University Animal Occupational Health and Safety Program

Hearing: 75-100%
Standing/Climbing/Mobility: 75-100%
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 75-100 % (pound: up to 40 lbs.)
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: 75 – 100%
