Housing Assignments Coordinator

The Housing Assignments Coordinator is responsible for the housing assignments and lottery process of approximately 2,500 on campus bed spaces in 6 residence halls and 2 apartment complexes.   This is a full-time Monday through Friday (day hours) position. 

This role works closely with students, parents, and other departments.  Enjoy working hard in a fun and postiive environment with a great culture. This is a highly collaberative role that is in person.   

  • Collect applications and deposits for incoming students.
  • Maintain records and assist with current student concerns and has a keen attention to detail on all student housing records.
  • Provides administerial support + works in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Housing + Auxiliary Services.
  • Exercise judgment and take independent action based upon knowledge of departmental policies and processes when advising current and prospective students, parents, and university departments.



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of experience,  working in a Higher Education system, Housing department, Property Management, or similar professions preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Ofice products and Excel necessary, knowledge of Banner and StarRez Housing system a plus
  • Knowledge of Residence Life programs helpful
  • Interpersonal/human relations skills necessary
