Head Womens Soccer Coach
Other essential responsibilities of the position include:
- Planning and organizing practice and workouts designed to properly prepare student-athletes to excel in Division I and Big East conference competition
- Coordinating the travel and scheduling of games
- Collaborating with the strength and conditioning staff to ensure the development of effective conditioning and weight training programs
- Monitoring the mental and physical health of student-athletes under the guidance of the athletic training staff
- Creating an environment that champions the development of the whole person
- Managing the program’s operating budget
- Assisting with fundraising and alumni engagement efforts
- Ensuring proper compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of head or assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level or higher
- Proven track record of player development
- Strong motivation and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Head coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, II or III level or assistant coaching experience at a successful Division I institution
- Master’s degree or advanced education
