Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have an earned Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree and willingness to pursue completion of a Master’s degree (doctoral degree preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of patient care experience in an emergency or critical care environment, preferably including field experience in the delivery of out-of-hospital emergency care, and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an educator of health or medical related content. Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure as a paramedic and EMS Instructor designation in the State of Nebraska. Current provider and instructor certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS, ITLS, and PHTLS preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with attention to detail; strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to coordinate multiple projects and processes in support of educational efforts; and, the ability to make decisions in the best interest of patient care, student safety and success, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards and guidelines.
