Director of Clinical Education, Learning and Onboarding Hub
Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Director to support faculty, staff and student compliance and contracts for Clinical Education.
Directly responsible for the implementation and management of a newly created Clinical Education, Learning and Onboarding Hub. Oversees and monitors onboarding, compliance, and contract requirements for clinical education. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, communication strategy and committees for the maintenance of onboarding and clinical education compliance. Serves as a liaison between departments concerning contracting and compliance needs for clinical and service-learning experiences. Monitors regulatory updates initiated by clinical placement sites and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides oversight and leadership of department.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, assessment, and management of a centralized department activities and committees.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with departments on compliance monitoring and accreditation requirements to proactively identify opportunities for enhancement and to mitigate institutional risk. Facilitates relationships with all academic and clinical partners while ensuring centralized communication.
- Ensures all regulatory requirements are met. Oversees the auditing process and coordinates compliance efforts with the contracting team. Interprets lab results as needed.
- Leads several advisory committees, engaging senior leadership and academic leaders in the coordination and priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; background in health science preferred.
- 5+ years' experience managing a team is preferred
- 5+ years’ experience working in compliance and or contracts.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, experience working in a health sciences higher education setting and professional healthcare licensure preferred.
- Proficient in Office 365 suite and adaptability to technology platforms.
