Essential Duties and Functions:

  • 40%, Develop and be fiscally responsible for a recruitment program that will successfully achieve a quality, culturally diverse student body to support and promote high academic achievement for classes in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.  Utilize a data driven process and metrics; making analytics a priority to guide/make decisions regarding the recruitment of students.  Have the knowledge and understanding of today’s HE contemporary admission and recruitment strategies.  Work directly with the Office of Academic and Student Affairs to establish the continuity of student progression from applicant to enrolled student.
  • 15% Work closely with the faculty in 3 academic programs and each faculty admission committees to develop and implement admission policies and drive admission practices to effectively to meet enrollment goals.  Regularly communicate with faculty, staff, and administration the goals, activities, and progress made as it relates to admission and recruitment.
  • 15% Responsible for oversight of all Creighton affiliated campuses and programs.   Direct collaboration with EDGE, enrollment management and the undergraduate admission staff.  Determine appropriate recruiting trips, establish relationships with pre-professional clubs, and on campus visits. Correspond and cultivate the relationships throughout the year with pre-professional advisors and students. Meet with and recruit prospective students for the professional programs of the school. 
  • 15% Lead the development of recruitment materials to collaborate and provide input on print and online, for promotion of programs and develop an effective distribution plan.  Work closely with the school’s assigned marketing strategist to establish strategic marketing campaigns.
  • 10% Supervise staff and work closely with the implementation and maintenance of information systems that best track and promote SPAHP applicants and programs.  Delegate appropriately with the admission staff to related strategies and tactics.
  • 5% Other special projects and assignments as directed by the Student Affairs Dean or the Dean of the school to promote the school to outside constituents.
Proficiency skills in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex plans coordinated with multiple constituencies.
Strong ability to manage, supervise, and develop professional staff;


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field;

Minimum 10 years demonstrated of experience;

2+ years supervisory experience;

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;

Strong collaborative/teamwork ability to motivate, and inspire staff at all levels of the organization;

Demonstrated experience with strategic and master planning;

Experience with budget planning, forecasting and fiscal management of an operating budgeting

Ability to influence change;

Results oriented;

Mission and Service oriented
