Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in recreation, sports management, physical education, leisure services, exercise science or related degree.
Master's Degree required in related field.
Experience with NIRSA preferred.
5 -7 years' related experience in recreation management, fitness and/or wellness.
2-4 years management experience required.
Experience with budget development, oversight, and management required.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and ability to negotiate conflict effectively.
Knowledge of shared use facilities programs and services.
Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
Committed to developing students within the Jesuit, Catholic context.
Nights and weekends are expected.
Required:
CPR and First Aid Certified
Preferred: NSCA Certification, Personal Trainer Certification
Physical Requirements:
Seeing: 75 – 100%
Hearing: 75 – 100%
Standing/Climbing/Mobility: 50 – 75%
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0 – 24 % (pound: 10 lbs.)
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: 75 – 100%
Travel: No
