Dental Assistant II - Research (Part-time)
Creighton University School of Dentistry is excited to announce an opportunity for a 2 year, Grant Funded, Part-time (20 hours/week), Benefit Eligible, Dental Assistant II -Research opportunity.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the scheduling and appropriate follow-up with patients that are part of the research study. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Principal Investigator and faculty in the dental clinic. Ensure proper techniques are being used as well as compliance with OSHA guidelines and standards are followed. Maintain patient records according to the research study protocol.
Candidate will have to complete Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program).
Follow the Principal Investigator's directives and instruction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Graduated from an accredited Dental Assistant School, Radiology certificate;
3-5 years' experience;
Knowledge of Dental procedures and terminology;
Ability to operate various forms of dental equipment;
Ability to maintain Sterile technique and an understanding and practice of HIPAA requirements;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong customer service skills including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;

Demonstrate commitment to working with diverse populations
