DENTAL ASSISTANT II - Pediatrics
Creighton University is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant II who will be responsible for assisting Dental Students in all facets of dentistry. Ensure and oversee proper techniques are being used in specific departments as well as compliant with OSHA guidelines and assuring standards are met. Will also assist Faculty as needed. Will assist with labs and classes during off clinic times, one evening a month for One World Mission Clinic.
This is an 11-month, 34 hour/week work schedule.

Qualifications, Certifications, and Licensure

High school diploma or equivalent required;

Graduated from an accredited Dental Assistant School, Radiology certificate

3 + years of experience

Knowledge of Dental procedures and terminology

Ability to operate various forms of dental equipment

Ability to maintain Sterile technique and an understanding and practice of HIPAA requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook
