Summary:
Provide administrative clinic support for Creighton Therapy and Wellness, a faculty practice clinic that provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services for adults and children.  Perform tasks related to the routine operation of the therapy clinic as assigned in the areas of front desk operation to include answering multi-line phone, schedule of patients, maintaining patient charts, routine record releases, verifying insurance, performing prior authorizations, tracking visits, and providing administrative support.  Assist with greeting patients, ascertaining their needs and appropriately directing visitors and callers. 


Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2-4 years of patient registration experience

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices

Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office, Internet and email

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work effectively as a team member with clinic providers and staff.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures/processes;

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written);

Customer service focus including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;

Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;

Ability to be collaborative and work in a team environment;

Demonstrate Professionalism;

Must be dependable/accountable
