Chaplain (Part Time)
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Ministry or related field, and be qualified to conduct Protestant worship services on campus.Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residency is desirable. Certification with either the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) is preferred.
2-4 years' experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge in the area of theology and the social sciences
Ability to communicate on an individual level, and in group situations
Ability to perform duties with compassion, energy, openness, and flexibility when under high levels of stress
Ability to counsel and assist others by providing spiritual comfort and support
Willingness to serve others on a continual basis, and work flexible schedule
Ability to deliver timely, high quality care in a courteous and respectful manner
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
