Certified Medical Assistant- Student Counseling Services
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program
1 to 2 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.
Comfort level with first contact and hand-off for mental health crisis requests
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and disciplined approach.
Ability to work with a wide range of individuals also required.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Ability/willingness to adhere to the established departmental service standards.
Regular attendance required.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
OR
Certification Nursing Assistant-ACTIVE in Nebraska Registry
Medication Aide License preferred
Certification in Basic Life Support
