Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience writing print and digital copy that aligns with organizational strategy and goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Exceptional creative writing and storytelling abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to express ideas clearly, persuasively, logically and in an organized fashion. Must have both a big-picture vision and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to identify topics for stories, including arranging all aspects of interviews and conducting research.
Ability to establish priorities, exercise initiative, work proactively, and accept responsibility in completing work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent editing and proofreading skills. Proficient with Associated Press style.
Experience promoting online content through social media, online advertising, cross-linking opportunities, and SEO.
Understanding of branding, creative processes, and communications strategy.
Experience with photography, videos, podcasts, and multimedia projects for digital platforms is a plus.
Proficient software skills in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite programs.
Familiarity with online content management systems and fundraising database software is helpful.
