Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or within a related field; Master's preferred
3-5 years of demonstrated success in the area of investigations, student conduct, violence prevention, human resources, or employee relations in an academic environment.
  
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with a broad range of constituents, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, families, law enforcement, and community members
Ability to serve as a neutral, unbiased party in the investigation process
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and sensitivity
Familiarity with federal statutes related to higher education, specifically Campus SaVE, Clery Act, Title IX, FERPA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Experience working with Affirmative Action and EEO and familiarity with federal and state employment laws
Ability to take initiative and carry out detailed work under time constraints
Strong communication skills
Effective organizational skills
  
Required Licenses/Certifications:

Requires Title IX Investigator Certification or ability and commitment to obtain certification within one year of hire.
