Assistant Volleyball Coach-Athletics
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related area;
2-4 year’s related experience, at a collegiate level preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of a specific sport's concepts/strategies and NCAA rules and regulations;
Knowledge of physical conditioning techniques and weight training;
Knowledge of basic statistics;
Recruiting skills;
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to develop quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations;
Ability to lead and motivate students and/or staff;
Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others;
Ability to manage and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands
Ability to assess athletic talent;
Ability to serve as a positive role;
Ability to work at times nontraditional business hours as this position revolves around the sport schedule
