Assistant Professor of Economics
Creighton University seeks an Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate courses in health economics, econometrics, and other related economics courses in the curriculum. Additional responsibilities include research in economics; publishing/presenting research findings; student advising; and participating in departmental, school, and university committees. Assistant Professor will teach: ECO 203; Introductory Microeconomics; ECO 513; Health Economics, ECO 418; Econometrics. Assistant Professor is expected to engage in professional services activities, such as reviewing journal manuscripts, serving on editorial boards, and organizing academic conferences. PhD in Economics, one semester of collegiate level teaching experience, published author in a peer-reviewed journal, and experience with at least one data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, STATA, SPSS, or similar is required.
