Description
The Heider College of Business at Creighton University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA). Teaching load is five classes per academic year. The teaching load includes a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses that could include (but is not limited to): management information systems, business analytics, database management, systems analysis and design, cybersecurity, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. The College seeks a balanced teacher-scholar with a commitment to excellent teaching as well as publishable scholarship. The candidate will be expected to provide academic advising for students, as well as service to the College, University, and business community.
The Heider College of Business is accredited by the AACSB with an enrollment of approximately 1100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students. Approximately 70 full-time faculty members, complemented by part-time professors, serve our students. In the area of BIA, this includes eight tenure-track positions, one endowed chair, and three full-time instructor positions. Degrees awarded at the Heider College of Business include the BSBA, MBA, and several specialized masters degrees, including a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have an earned terminal degree (PhD, DBA) from a business school in Information Systems/Analytics or a closely related field. If the terminal degree is not from a business school, possessing a secondary degree (for example, masters degree) from a business school will be considered as an alternative. Candidates are required to have relevant professional (industry) work experience.
