The College of Nursing is seeking an appointment for a 12 month, full-time, faculty member with maternal-child (OB, labor delivery, and postpartum) expertise to fill a faculty position in the College of Nursing’s BSN program. This position is for the College’s Omaha campus. The candidate must have experience in acute care OB/Labor and Delivery/Postpartum settings with the flexibility to supervise students in community-based settings. 

Candidates must possess at least a master’s degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal-child nursing. The ideal candidate would have an earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program. In addition, the ideal candidate would have a record of accomplishment commensurate with either an early-stage scholarship career with evidence of an emerging research path or an established career in research. The candidate must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska or eligibility for licensure.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal-child nursing; an earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program preferred;

Ability to work at times non-traditional business hours when needed (i.e. weekends, evening, and/or holiday)

Required licenses and/or certifications:
A current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska or eligibility for licensure, is necessary.
