Assistant Director of Recruitment- School of Pharmacy and Health Professions - for West Region- Phoenix
The Assistant Director of Recruitment- West Region provides a high level of personalized service to prospective students of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions on the Phoenix campus. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and participating in recruitment activities and functions within the West Region for the School’s professional programs: the Doctor of Physical Therapy – Phoenix program, the Doctor of Occupational Therapy – Phoenix Hybrid Pathway, and Doctor of Pharmacy - Phoenix Hybrid Pathway on Creighton’s Phoenix campus, as well as Doctor of Occupational Therapy Hybrid collaborations with Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and University of Alaska in Anchorage.
- In addition to direct recruitment efforts, this position will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with individuals, organizations, advisors, and faculty at targeted post-secondary institutions to introduce Creighton Health Sciences to current college students.
- They will represent and promote the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at local, regional, and national events to increase visibility, target enrollment, and community partnerships.
- Develop and execute ongoing correspondence with prospective students, including, but not limited to, phone contacts, email, letters, texting, and social media.
- Analyze historical and trend data to direct strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Must be a self-starter and innovative thinker.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate the West Region to determine the most effective methods of recruitment for the area. Plan, organize, and participate in recruitment activities and events.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Initiate follow-up correspondence and contact with prospective students, advisors, and partners via phone, email, texting, social media, and written correspondence.
- Meet with students for on-campus information sessions.
- Manage outreach activities locally and regionally for current college students and other prospective students to build awareness and affinity to Creighton University and our Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy Programs.
- Coordinate interview activities for the Phoenix Health Science Campus in partnership with the Admission Team and Enrollment Management Events Team.
- Review and evaluate transcripts for prerequisite coursework completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required; with a strong desire to obtain a master’s degree.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, student recruitment, marketing, advising, or a related field.
