Reports to the Director of the Creighton Intercultural Center (CIC) in the creation and administration of retention initiatives, strategies, and programs that target under-represented multicultural students.
Advises the student leadership team in the Eileen B. Lieben Center for Women and its programming
Collaborates with the Director of Retention, the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, The EDGE (Creighton’s center for tutoring, advising, and academic support) and other university entities in retention efforts Coordinates workshops related to retention
  
Provides support to Markoe Scholars (cohort of first generation students who receive the Creighton Markoe Scholarship), and is responsible for the development of Asian/Pacific Islander student retention efforts in CIC.
  
Develops leadership opportunities for students to engage in mission-centered intercultural work

Qualifications:
Master's degree with emphasis in Higher Education, Social Work, Education or Student Personnel Administration required
3-5 years Higher Education experience, experience in diversity education and facilitation, strong leadership skills, passion for helping students
Commitment to the ideals of Jesuit education
Knowledge and competency in areas of intercultural excellence, and developmental/identity theory for underrepresented populations
Excellent written and verbal communications are required
Night and weekend commitments are required
