The Assistant Director for Immunization Compliance manages campus health and immunization compliance to ensure that students, faculty and staff are compliant with University requirements. Coordinates with health science schools to meet the clinical onboarding needs of the students. Coordinates campus clinics (immunization clinics and Shoo the Flu at CU) and other outreach events related to health compliance. Provides public health surveillance and coordination in the event of a communicable disease outbreak. Coordinates clinical educational experiences for Health Science students.


Qualifications:

6 years ambulatory nursing experience; public health experience desirable
Previous experience in college health preferred
Ability to work effectively as a member of an interprofessional team
Excellent computer skills
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and able to multitask and prioritize
Ability to work with a diverse population
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Ability/willingness to adhere to the established departmental service standards
Regular attendance required
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Possess the energy and vision needed to provide for the ongoing health care of students, outside of the direct patient care environment

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Current Nebraska or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification
