Qualifications:
- Two years experience working in intercollegiate athletics.  
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree/Juris Doctorate preferred.  
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills required. Familiarity with all NCAA platforms and Teamworks.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NCAA, including its governance structure, legislative process, and its policies and procedures.   
- Ability to organize, multi-task and maintain confidentiality and integrity in daily work.

Responsibilities/Duties
- (35%) Interprets legislation and seeks interpretive assistance from the NCAA and BIG EAST as necessary. Monitors rules compliance for the entire University community in the areas of personnel, recruiting, camps, student-athlete eligibility, financial aid, playing seasons, amateurism and athletic administrative regulations.  Files waivers for legislative relief and medical hardships, and reports violations to the NCAA and Big East Conference.  
- (30%) Responsible for educating coaches, staff, student-athletes and University community on BIG EAST/NCAA legislation and policies through regular in-person group meetings, team meetings, newsletters, social media and electronic correspondence.
- (15%) Creates, implements and maintains department and University-wide systems for ensuring compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies.  Manages annual NCAA reporting obligations, data collection and internal audits.  Maintains files and records necessary to demonstrate compliance.
- (10%) Serves as a liaison between the athletic department and the BIG EAST Conference, in addition to various departments within the University, including but not limited to Student Life, Residence Life, Admissions, Financial Aid and
