Assistant/ Associate Professor - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
Primary appointment will be in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated individual to support and develop the clinical curriculum to provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of the Oral and Maxillofacial patients. The successful candidate for this 12-month, tenure track position will work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession. Specific responsibilities will focus on clinical and didactic teaching at the pre-doctoral level, participation in research, service activities, and delivering continuing dental education for the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Qualifications:
Candidates must also be able to obtain a dental license in the State of Nebraska for which they are eligible, have or seek licensure for sedation and obtain and retain clinical credentialing for third-party payers having contracts with the School of Dentistry’s clinical operations.
Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
