Required Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology, Higher Education, Adult Education, Counseling or related field.
Experience working with adult learners.
5 years of experience in professional setting serving a diverse population.
Experience working and maintaining effective relationships with students, staff, and faculty in a rigorous academic setting.
Experience in program development, coordination and delivery of effective student learning services.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Terminal degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology, Higher Education, Adult Education, Counseling, or related field.
Experience working with medical students and/or wellness programs in adult learners.
Experience in strategic planning, organizational management, or project planning.
Experience in program evaluation and research in wellness initiatives.
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
Professional licensure in counseling or psychotherapy services.
Clinical license in counseling services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of wellness principles, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of wellness curriculum development, educational and training resources.
Skill in student mentoring and development.
Skill in managing and coordinating tasks.
Skill in office-based software applications.
Ability to communicate in writing and orally, including public speaking.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, cultures, and stakeholders.
