Assist the Office of Medical Admissions in its goal to enroll students of diverse backgrounds to the School of Medicine that best fit our mission, vision, and goals.  Primary responsibilities will include the following under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Admissions and the Director of Admissions for the School of Medicine:


*Assisting in the holistic review of applications for interview and admission purposes
*Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders as to further the goals of admissions
*Maintaining/updating files in admissions systems
*Assist in coordinating and participating in admissions events, including second looks, advising appointments, committee meetings, and interviews
*Assist in coordinating communication of status with applicants



Qualifications:
Associates' Degree
2-4 years' experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated customer service focus and ability to resolve conflict and deal with demanding clients.
Ability to think independently and analyze problems and reach solutions.
Ability to work independently and anticipate required work and self-initiate projects that have periodic or cyclical deadlines.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
Ability to multi-task. 
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service focus and ability to resolve conflict and deal with demanding clients
Strong organization and time management skills, working independently and anticipating required work and self-initiate projects that have periodic deadlines
Ability to demonstrate motivation and self-direction

Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
